Opening Remarks from President: Trent Sullivan

Thank you for your support and participating on the board this past year! Kristen will be transitioning July 1st, 2022. She will take over as President for this IIDA chapter. Excited that we can see the next few years of our board forming together.

Notes from President Elect: Kristen Vaughn

Attending CLC with Morgan Black.  

Getting organized. Gmail accounts costs moving forward. Dropbox might be getting eliminated, and google drive will be the new format. Board to agree on new format of logistics and communication.

Industry Relations - Patrick Kelley

Nashville -  

Sponsorship push and keeping praise of IIDA out in the ﬁeld Promotion with design entries

Advocacy - Claudia Lofton

NC, WI, IL states are pushing advocacy eﬀectively, she is working with those states to get better feedback on how to approach advocacy in TN.

Financial- Brandon Kirkland No update

Sponsorship - Morgan Black and Abigail Fornetti

Extended the sponsorship date has been extended.  

Please continue to spread the word of Sponsorship opportunities. This year we have $41,500n Sponsorships. Sponsorship “Thank You” event, hosting it at Gresham Smith’s oﬃce. Hosting it June 27th.  

Sponsors are concerned about COVID limiting face-to-face events and have more limited with budgets post-pandemic than previous years. We need more sponsorship dollars to move the board forward and fund the events.

Cinco-de-CEU - decent turn out, will do it again next year Inspire - July - Material Bank CEU

Casey Wiegend is starting the Nashville City Center July 1st

Chattanooga City Center - Hannah Lyons  

Cinco-de-CEU - not enough showed up, doing it again next year NCDIQ prep-day

Professional Development - Hannah Lyons- No Update

Communications - Chris Conrad

Chris is staying on board as a VP of Communications, and will be nominating city center directors to have them communicate all projects and all social media posts to Chris. Having one person still on the board for voting purposes, and all communication will be streamlined. This should make communication more eﬃcient.  

Special Events - Lew Moore and Kayla Felice 

Kayla has joined us!  

Committee meeting this past week. Announcement has gone out, theme is Deisgn at the Disco! Committee meeting is brining it all to life, keeping the same level of hype. Social Media moments will be a focus. Indoor and Outdoor event is at Saint El, in WeHo. Online entries will be determined here in the next week. June 22nd will be a call for entries! Plus a month for judging.
