New Business - Discussion - Trent Term Limits - due to 2020 year, looking to approve term extension Discussion - crash course and learning of what is to be expected on the board to be better effective. Is there anything from HQ that would help board members. Due to the nature of 2020, board members feel they are not as effective as they could be, renewing another year will help everyone be more effective. TN - IDEA - Holly Baird Interior Design Education and Advocacy Recap of TIDC to TN IDEA Professional licensing and insurance policies through legislation and Title Act TN IDEA acts as a unified voice to bring ASID and IIDA together Don Baltimore - lobbyist for 30 years Levels of registered designers is decreasing Both ASID and IIDA have provided funds for TN IDEA to support coalition Lobbyist, Legal Fee, Tax Filing, Management etc. No money has come in from IIDA or ASID for the past few years ASID would like to have a conversation with Trent and Claudia to insure we are providing a unified message to support TN IDEA for a proposed one year solution TIDPACK - Tennessee Interior Design Pack to protect the industry standards Current funds will retain Don Baltimore for the next 6 months. Is there a membership dollar amount that we can raise rates to create more money in the budget for TN IDEA.

Special Events - Caycee and Lew 2021 Goal planning session Target Date: September 23rd, 2021 Location: Nashville Zoo Call to action: Need Recommendations for tent! Working on getting with communications on social media Pre-Party at Dal-Tile instead of doing an After-Party (necessary, up for debate by the board) Or possibly a pre-party tailgate. Making sure we have value for sponsors without asking for more money from them. One time ask as already happened. Getting a fall 2021 teaser post for social media Getting a virtual option set up for a plan B 2 February 27th, 2021 2021 Board Planning Meeting Notes “Can-Struction” Update: they aren’t having the events due to supply chain management, they don’t have enough cans to do the event. At present they do not have any event scheduled in the US.

MCC- Leigh & Chaz Goals of 2021 - Yoga Event on a rooftop in Memphis at new hotel Communications, Ashley is working with Morgan to get posts out Booth at the vender blender - May 13th (new date) Need credit card $225-$250 for booth rental (already budgeted) Social planning - membership drive for this summer to be planned Zero landfill event October - Food Drive event

ETCC - Missy & Kristen Goals for 2021 - Student mentoring virtually March - lecture with Melanie Doss - working with Claudia to create a Q&A feel, Member firm spot light for social media. May - Cinco de CEU - 4 CEUs that day June - Fitness social and NCIDQ info session August - Zero Landfill event September - Study date for NCIDQ October - AIA IIDA Trivia Night November - KnoxCon on the 16th (week before Thanksgiving, and day after BDNY)

NCC- Jenna McPherson Goals for 2021 - March to April - virtual toast and tours March 27th - Social event at Arrington April 21st, 28th and May 12th and 19th - toast and tours June 10th - Pins social event Zero Landfill - statewide event July 14th - potential CEU CCC- Hannah Lyons Meet and Greet with TN Board (some in person and some virtual) June - joint ETCC NCIDQ prep day *Need 15-20 professional members to get the city center up and running

Professional Development-Hannah Lyons NCIDQ Prep workshop and Crash course day in each city center Resume Reviews Mentor program - for resume review Student Affairs - Jerica Banks No Reports Update Advocacy-Claudia Going to follow up with Holly from TN IDEA Set up a call with ASID to get on the same page for funds for TN IDEA By-Laws review is ongoing - Chris is willing to be on that committee No Capital Days currently happening Scheduling a sit down with Don Baltimore March 11th - zoom Q&A (11 CST)

Membership-Tyler Membership dinner is typically in the spring, looking to push it back spring 2022 due to COVID Other ideas - getting a swag bag together with gift card for dinner instead of an inperson dinner. Provide for people who renew membership. Membership is January to January Order new shirts with old logo and get rid of current inventory Other non-sized items: Masks, Fanny Packs, etc. Event Ideas: Logo design competition with Students to get them involved Invite friends - win cash
